Over the weekend, the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site experienced a heartbreaking act of vandalism. Our newly installed, 3D-printed statue of President Benjamin Harrison was deliberately set on fire with an accelerant and destroyed. Created to celebrate the legacy of America&#39;s 23rd president and welcome visitors to his Indianapolis home, the statue was more than a representation of President Harrison. It was a visible connection between our community, its history, and the enduring importance of civic engagement. While the statue is gone, our commitment to preserving and sharing this history remains as strong as ever. Now, we&#39;re asking our community to help President Ben stand tall again. Through this special restoration campaign, we hope to raise $15,000 to replace the statue and return this welcoming symbol to the Presidential Site. If we exceed this goal, we will seek additional funding up to $50,000 to caste the statue in bronze. Your gift will directly support the creation and installation of a replacement, ensuring that future generations can continue to encounter President Harrison and discover the remarkable history preserved here.
