Bachelot died at sea in 1837. He was hastily buried on the remote Micronesian islet of Na (near Pohnpei), where he has remained separated from his flock for nearly two centuries. Honoring the Hawaiian Martyrs&nbsp;Our prayers to the native Hawaiians caught in the crossfire&mdash;heroes like Simeone Paele, who died in irons at the Honolulu Fort, and others who endured forced labor, starvation, and the grueling &quot;March of the Ropes&quot; for their Faith.
