Safe Perch Exotic Avian Rescue is a Georgia 501(c)(3) (EIN: 41-4018491) founded in January 2026 by a U.S. military veteran. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome parrots and exotic birds &mdash; companions who can live 30 to 80 years and who general animal shelters aren&#39;t equipped to help.Twelve birds are in our care today, across seven species. They include Cleo, a Scarlet Macaw with a 50&ndash;75-year lifespan ahead of her. Rosie, an African Grey who arrived needing $900 in emergency veterinary care. Finnigan, a Lilac Crowned Amazon listed as Endangered under CITES Appendix I.
