Sometimes the most improbable dreams are the ones worth believing in together. This Juhannus, our inaugural Michigan Air Guitar Championship (M.A.G.E) created an incredible opportunity. After our recap video caught the attention of the U.S. Air Guitar National Finals, our top competitors were invited to compete in the Dark Horse Competition in San Francisco on July 31, just before the National Finals on August 1. Should they be among the top finalists in the Dark Horse Competition, they will win a spot in the U.S. Air Guitar National Finals&nbsp;the following night. The winner of the National Finals earns a paid trip to Oulu, Finland to compete at the&nbsp;Air Guitar World Championship. Meet Team U.P.:🥇 Adequate Spider Guy a.k.a Drew Cramer (Keweenaw)&nbsp;&ndash; First Place 🥈 The Archmagus&nbsp;Tony Wallets with human handler Allison Maple (Marquette) &ndash; Second Place Our Goal&ndash;$2600:Our two competitors have already committed to this incredible opportunity and covered the upfront costs of attending. This fundraiser will help offset their travel expenses and provide a food stipend, reducing the cost for them to represent the Keweenaw and Michigan&#39;s Upper Peninsula on the national stage. Whatever amount reached under the initial ask &nbsp;will be split evenly. Because our inaugural Michigan Air Guitar Championship was produced without sponsorship, every dollar raised goes a long way toward supporting the people who are carrying our community to the next level.
