A person who is believing in Jesus for eternal life knows for sure he has eternal life (John 11:25-27; Acts 16:30-34; 1 John 5:13). 4. Eternal rewards, which provide a closer relationship with Jesus in His kingdom, are given to believers who already have eternal life, as rewards for their faithful service to Jesus (Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 19:11-27; 2 Timothy 2:11-13).
