She lives in the Virgin Islands. She found a tiny puppy, without the use of her back legs. This sweet little thing was facing euthanasia, but her finder insisted on helping her. She was vetted and given medication, with the hopes that she would regain the use of her legs. After being diagnosed with a bruised spinal cord, and taking antibiotics for 30 days, she unfortunately has not gained the use of her back legs.  Her finder is legally blind, and contacted South Paw Rescue, in the hopes that we would agree to help this little baby. Our hearts will not allow us to say no. She will be arriving to us Sunday, Feb. 9th.  Our hope is to get her in to see a vet, with a referral to see a specialist. We also hope to provide her with physical therapy to strengthen her legs. Depending on her diagnosis from a vet, we will also be looking at providing her with a wheelchair- that will allow her to grow.  All this being a costly endeavor for our little operation, but we know our rescue family will show up for this little girl!
