The Southern California Junior Cricket Academy (SCJCA) is bringing free youth cricket programming directly into community parks throughout the City of Compton. Our Community Park Program gives youth ages 8–17 the opportunity to learn the game of cricket in a welcoming and supportive environment—regardless of their experience level or their family’s ability to pay.Through our partnership with the City of Compton Department of Parks & Recreation, we are working to make cricket more accessible while creating positive spaces where young people can learn, stay active, build confidence, develop friendships, and discover new opportunities.Your Donation Helps Us Provide:

🏏 Cricket bats, balls, wickets, and training equipment

👕 Uniforms and program shirts for youth participants

🧢 Safety and athletic equipment

🏆 Youth clinics, practices, games, and special events

💧 Water, snacks, and participant supplies

📚 Educational, wellness, and personal-development workshops

👨‍🏫 Coaches, instructors, and program support

🚐 Transportation and operational support

🌳 Expansion into additional community parks

For many of our participants, this will be their first introduction to cricket.
