Our Mission

At Get Back, Inc., our mission is to empower veterans and unhoused individuals by providing immediate support through advocacy, peer mentorship, and resource navigation — while paving the way toward long-term stability and permanent housing. We believe that with community and compassion, meaningful change is possible.

Why We Need Your Support

We are launching this fundraiser to secure the resources necessary to expand our impact and sustain our vital programs. Your generous contributions will help us:

✅ Establish an Office Space

A dedicated headquarters where veterans can access critical support services, including:

    •    Assistance with job applications, ID recovery, and connecting to existing local resources.

    •    Peer support groups — safe spaces for veterans to share experiences, build community, and uplift one another.

    •    Career development programs and legal aid workshops, including “Know Your Rights” sessions in partnership with local legal organizations.

✅ Fund Staff Salaries

Our compassionate and skilled staff are the backbone of Get Back, Inc. Your support will allow us to retain program coordinators, case managers, and outreach specialists — the people who make direct, daily impacts in the lives of those we serve.

✅ Feed the Unhoused Weekly

Every week, we host community meal programs for homeless veterans and individuals in need. These gatherings not only provide nourishment but also offer an opportunity to connect people with housing options, employment programs, and other vital resources.

    •    We also organize volunteer outreach teams to distribute hygiene kits, resource lists, and words of encouragement directly to those living on the streets.

Our Goal

We aim to raise $250,000 to cover:

    •    Office rent and essential supplies.

    •    Staff salaries to maintain and grow our programs.

    •    Food distribution and outreach efforts for the next year.

Our Long-Term Vision

As Get Back, Inc. grows, our goal is to:

    •    Establish transitional housing programs offering safe, sober environments for individuals rebuilding their lives.

    •    Develop job training and employment initiatives tailored to veterans and formerly incarcerated individuals, empowering them with the skills needed for financial independence.

    •    Launch a re-entry program for veterans and others transitioning from incarceration, providing housing assistance, mental health care, and vocational training.

    •    Create partnerships for affordable housing solutions — bridging the gap between transitional housing and permanent, stable homes.

We meet people where they are — with empathy, not judgment — and walk alongside them on their journey back to stability and self-sufficiency.
