Our next vision is the Michal&rsquo;s Hope Medical Facility and Hope Home &mdash; a compassionate, patient-centered temporary residence created for kidney patients and their families who need to remain close to critical medical care. The proposed home will include 20 private patient suites, each with its own private bathroom.10 suites will be dedicated to dialysis patients actively completing the evaluation and workup process for possible placement on the AdventHealth Kidney Transplant waiting list. 10 suites will provide temporary accommodations for kidney transplant recipients receiving care through the AdventHealth Transplant Institute who need housing before or after transplant surgery and during follow-up treatment and recovery. The vision also includes a commercial kitchen, community dining area, laundry facilities, comfortable common spaces, staff areas, and an environment designed to provide dignity, connection, encouragement, and healing.
