We’re building something worth belonging to.Potomac Made is creating a community where makers, artisans, veterans, and young people can come together to learn, create, and carry traditional craftsmanship forward. Our first step? Bringing Potomac Shores its first annual Holiday Market on December 12, 2026, in Central Park. We’re raising $51,500 to launch this new community tradition, invest in professional event equipment, and establish resources that can support future markets, workshops, and hands-on creative experiences. But our vision doesn’t end in December.Through our broader $75,000 Founding Fund, we’re working toward Art in the Park workshops in 2027 and beyond. Your support helps us build what’s next.Help Bring the Holiday Market to LifeOur goal is to create a beautiful, welcoming holiday experience while investing in reusable equipment and decorations that will remain with Potomac Made for future community events. Sponsor a Maker Booth | $500 eachGoal: $22,500 for 45 boothsHelp equip local artisans with professional 10×10 white canopies, sidewalls, tables, chairs, and essential safety equipment. These setups will remain with Potomac Made to support future markets, workshops, and community events. Sponsor a Holiday Tradition | $14,000Help purchase the Central Park community tree, an 18-foot commercial-grade, pre-lit Christmas tree with a 7-season warranty, that can become the centerpiece of our annual Holiday Market and community tree lighting. Rather than purchasing and disposing of a live tree each year, we’re investing in a lasting community tradition that can bring neighbors together for many holiday seasons. Sponsoring the tree and its decorations together is $17,000, alone or shared from $1,000. Market Decorations | $3,500Reusable string lights, a festive welcome archway, and lamppost wreaths to transform Central Park into a holiday village. Greenery | $2,700Garlands and evergreens to bring warmth and holiday charm to each maker booth. Approximately $20 helps provide one piece of greenery. Tree Decorations | $3,000An ornament package, a matching tree topper, outdoor cords, and securing supplies to decorate our community tree. Setup & Safety | $1,200Power connections, cable covers, installation materials, and other essential supplies to help create a safe and welcoming event. A $4,600 contingency covers sales tax on equipment, canopy weights, and price changes.
