The mission of The Sheridan Gorman Foundation is to carry Sheridan&rsquo;s extraordinary heart forward by turning unimaginable loss into something beautiful, purposeful, and life-giving. &nbsp;We are still discovering all the ways that mission will take shape. Already, we have awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships to young adults with extraordinary hearts, and we are commissioning Buddy Benches for local schools &mdash; creating tangible reminders to notice others, include them, and make sure no one feels alone. &nbsp;But we believe this is only the beginning. We hope to support meaningful acts of kindness, service, connection, and opportunity; to work alongside other Angel Families; and to use Sheridan&rsquo;s story and our voices to advocate for accountability, change, and a safer America. We are taking the ashes of what was lost and, wherever we can, turning them into beauty...Where Compassion Sits and Courage Stands.
