Spring is right around the corner, and while trapping happens&nbsp;year-round,&nbsp;TNR season explodes in the warmer months. My goal is to have a&nbsp;dedicated rescue vehicle on the road by April, just in time to meet the overwhelming need that&rsquo;s coming. Right now, my personal vehicle is essentially a rescue vehicle &mdash; used for rescue errands about 80% of the time, logging over 12,000 miles a year transporting cats to spay/neuter appointments, vet care, and safe placement. It tells the story of our rescue work &mdash; scratched, dented, filled with traps, and driven thousands of miles to save lives &mdash; but continuing this way isn&rsquo;t sustainable for the future of our mission. We are raising&nbsp;$10,000&nbsp;to purchase and insure a&nbsp;nonprofit-owned rescue vehicle&nbsp;&mdash; one that will allow us to respond faster, transport animals safely, and protect both our volunteers and the organization as TNR season ramps up.
