When this litter came into our care, we knew they needed help. We just didn&#39;t know how much.These tiny puppies have been fighting through one medical problem after another. They arrived extremely small and struggling with respiratory symptoms, diarrhea, poor appetites and weakness. Despite everything we did, we have already lost two puppies from this litter.For the puppies still fighting, we are doing everything we can to get answers and keep them going.They have needed bloodwork, multiple parvo tests, medications, fluids and supportive care. Samples have been sent out for specialized PCR testing for distemper, and while we wait for those answers, another problem has emerged: one of the puppies has now been confirmed with ringworm.That means treatment, isolation and even more intensive cleaning and disinfecting to protect the other animals in our care.The expenses aren&#39;t coming from one big surgery or one single veterinary bill. They&#39;re coming from everywhere.Special foods because sometimes the only priority is finding something they will eat. Cerenia for nausea. Terbinafine for ringworm. Medications for intestinal parasites. Fluids. Bloodwork. Diagnostic testing. Puppy pads that are changed constantly. Gloves. Disinfectants. Laundry. Cleaning supplies. Veterinary visits. And all of the little things that add up when you&#39;re caring for medically fragile puppies day after day.We&#39;ve set a goal of $2,000 to help cover the medical care, diagnostics and supplies this litter has required.We don&#39;t have all of the answers yet.But while we wait for them, we&#39;re going to keep fighting for the puppies who are still here.If you can donate even a few dollars toward their care, it adds up.
