OC Underdogs — Help Us Save Orange County's Most Overlooked Dogs Orange County has a shelter crisis that no one is talking about.Every day, dogs sit in local shelters — overlooked, misunderstood, and running out of time. Dogs labeled as "difficult." Dogs with scars and fear and behaviors that come from trauma and abuse. Dogs that most people walk past. These are the dogs OC Underdogs was built for. We are a grassroots, donation-funded rescue dedicated to pulling euth-listed dogs from Orange County shelters before it's too late. We don't just find them a place to land — we invest in their behavioral rehabilitation through education-driven fostering, and we place them in forever homes where both the dog and the human are set up to truly thrive together. But we need your help before we can save a single dog.To pull a dog from a euthanasia list, we need funds in place first. Vet evaluations, medical clearances, transport, foster supplies, food, training tools — every rescue begins before a dog ever sets foot in a foster home, and none of it is free. Without a base of funding, we cannot make the pull. We cannot make the commitment. We cannot save the dog.Your donation — at any level — is what makes the first rescue possible. And the one after that. And the one after that.OC Underdogs is run entirely on donations. No corporate sponsors. No institutional backing. Just people who believe, like we do, that the underdog is worth fighting for. Every dollar raised goes directly toward:

Vet bills and medical appointments

Foster supplies, training tools, and enrichment

Transportation and shelter pull fees

Adoption events and community outreach

Food, leashes, and the everyday essentials of a second chance

We started this rescue because we've been on the front lines of Orange County's shelters. We've walked those rows. We've seen the hard cases. We've looked into the eyes of dogs who are out of time — and we know what they're capable of when someone believes in them. Help us get off the ground. Help us make the first pull. Help us prove that in Orange County, no dog is too far gone.Support OC Underdogs. Because every underdog deserves their moment.
