Safety should never be a privilege. It should be a reality for everyone.Every day, individuals and families in our community face the difficult reality of domestic violence. For many, leaving an abusive situation is only the beginning of a journey toward safety, healing, and independence. At the Domestic Abuse Council of Volusia County (DAC), we believe survivors deserve more than a safe place to escape. They deserve the resources, support, and opportunities necessary to rebuild their lives. As Volusia County's certified domestic violence center, DAC provides emergency shelter, a 24-hour crisis hotline, safety planning, legal and court advocacy, financial empowerment, children's services, and ongoing survivor support—all at no cost to survivors.Through our Turning the Tide initiative, we are reminding our community that awareness is important, but action is what creates change.Your donation helps us continue providing critical services to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.Whether you give $10, $25, $50, $100, or more, your generosity helps strengthen our ability to meet survivors where they are and support them as they move toward a safer future.Together, we can turn awareness into action, compassion into commitment, and hope into lasting change.💜 Give today. Help create a safer tomorrow.Domestic Abuse Council of Volusia County | Expanding Safety. Strengthening Hope.
