The Mission: Representing Northern California Eclipse Robotics is a student-led engineering collective based in&nbsp;Stockton, CA. We are thrilled to announce that we have officially qualified for the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship&nbsp;in Missouri. Out of thousands of teams globally, we are one of only 150 elite collegiate teams invited to compete, representing the absolute peak of student engineering. Our Journey: The 72-Hour Sprint Our story began as a group of high school seniors who refused to let graduation be the end of our team. Despite attending different colleges, we stayed together to form an independent, garage-based VEX U team. This season, we faced our greatest challenge: with no university lab and zero initial funding, we spent months refining our designs entirely in CAD. Just three days before our qualifying event, we finally secured a practice field. In a massive 72-hour engineering sprint, we turned our digital models into a high-performance physical machine. We drove from Stockton to Los Angeles for the Ez Robotics VEX U Qualifier, brought home the Innovation Award, and secured our global invitation to Worlds.
