For over 30 years, Eric has served communities across Northern California and Arizona, responding to wildfires, disasters, and search-and-rescue missions. When others were running away, he was running in. Through his work with Fireground Drone Works and his nonprofit Wings of Help, Eric has dedicated his life to helping others—often in their worst moments—without ever asking for anything in return. But now… he’s in the fight of his life. A Rare DiagnosisIn December, Eric was diagnosed with male breast cancer—a rare and often overlooked disease that changed everything overnight. His treatment required him to be away from home, receiving care at MD Anderson Cancer Center. What followed was a battle most people never see:

Major surgery

Many weeks of radiation treatment

Physical exhaustion

Emotional toll

Time away from his work and livelihood

He faced it the same way he’s faced every emergency—head-on, with grit and determination The Financial RealityTo get through treatment, Eric did everything he could on his own first. He liquidated personal savings—including investments like Bitcoin and Cyber—and even drew from retirement funds just to stay afloat during surgery and radiation. At the same time, he was forced to put his businesses on pause.Fireground Drone Works and his indoor digital billboard network—built through years of hard work—were unable to operate while he focused on surviving cancer.Income stopped. Expenses didn’t. Where Things Stand NowTreatment is over—but recovery is just beginning.Eric is now working to rebuild:

His health

His financial stability

His businesses

His ability to continue serving others

This phase is often the hardest—and the least visible. How You Can HelpYour support will help Eric:

Cover essential living expenses during recovery

Offset travel and treatment-related costs

Continue healing after surgery and radiation

Restart and stabilize his businesses

Keep his mission alive through Wings of Help

Every donation—no matter the size—makes a real difference. A Life of Service — Now It’s Our TurnEric has spent decades showing up for others in their hardest moments. Now he’s the one who needs support. If you believe in standing behind those who have spent their lives serving others—this is that moment. Please Donate or ShareIf you’re able to give, thank you.If not, sharing this fundraiser helps more than you know.Together, we can help Eric recover, rebuild, and return to doing what he’s always done—Serving others.
