Dear Community Members,The Lassen County Holiday with a Hero program is gearing up for another season of making magical memories for local youth. This nonprofit initiative is dedicated to rebuilding positive relationships between young people and the brave men and women of our community’s responder agencies.In 2024, we are once again seeking your support to help us create an unforgettable holiday experience for youth who would greatly benefit from spending time with first responders. For just $150, you can sponsor a child and provide them with the opportunity to engage in meaningful, positive interactions that will last a lifetime.Your generous sponsorship covers the cost of a special Christmas experience, where each child will have the chance to connect with a first responder, share in the holiday spirit, and build lasting memories while participating in a once in a lifetime shopping spree with a responder. We are reaching out to you—our community partners, local businesses, and neighbors—to help make this event a success. Your donation will not only brighten the holiday season for a deserving child but will also strengthen the bond between our youth and those who serve and protect our community.How You Can Help:- A $150 donation will sponsor one child and their experience with a first responder.- Every contribution, big or small, helps us bring smiles and joy to children in Lassen County.Participants in Holiday with a Hero are nominated based on experiences throughout the year, our program does not take applications or self nominations.
