Please honor Cathy Moran (1960-2026) by supporting the Pilsen Food Pantry’s daily work: providing fresh, culturally-appropriate food, clothing, housewares, and basic health support to neighbors who need it most. The Pilsen Food Pantry is the largest program of the Figueroa Wu Family Foundation, a Chicago-based nonprofit organization. Cathy volunteered at the Pilsen Food Pantry from 2018 to 2019. To ensure that hungry families had access to fresh and healthy food, each week Cathy made the long drive from Oak Lawn to Pilsen. Over this period, Cathy's compassionate and humorous nature quickly came across. She was fun to work with, was a solid team player, and treated everyone she encountered with acceptance and respect. Due to illness, Cathy was unable to keep volunteering but kept in touch with the pantry's staff for the rest of her life. A donation in Cathy's honor helps keep fresh produce on the menu, shelves stocked, and supports deliveries for homebound clients. Thank you for commemorating Cathy's meaningful life in this impactful way.
