Hurricane Flood Relief: Helping Our Neighbors Recover AgainOn August 14, 2026, flash flooding tore through Hurricane, Utah. Heavy monsoon rain overwhelmed drainage, sending muddy water into homes, destroying belongings and submerging vehicles. Families were left needing everything from sheetrock to sod.Our community showed up with helping hands, equipment and generosity. Families began the long process of putting their homes and lives back together. Then, on October 22, Hurricane flooded again.Heavy rainfall sent another flood wave through Gould Wash, forcing evacuations along the wash and at Willow Wind RV Park. Hurricane declared a local emergency, with initial assessments reporting approximately 80 homes and 50 RVs affected. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.Behind those numbers are our neighbors—people looking at mud-covered belongings, damaged homes and another overwhelming recovery. We are continuing this fundraiser to help meet the needs created by both floods and support families through the work ahead. What your donation helps provideYour donation helps meet flood-related needs as they are identified and coordinated, including:• Cleanup supplies, drying equipment and debris removal • Drywall, insulation, flooring and baseboards • Cabinets, fixtures and necessary home repairs • Essential household items damaged or destroyed by flooding • Recovery needs that fall through the cracksRecovery means more than clearing away the mud. Homes need to be cleaned out and dried before repairs can begin. Damaged materials need to be replaced. Families need the everyday essentials that make a house livable again. Some needs are immediate. Others will become clear as damage is assessed. Your support helps us respond as those needs emerge and continue helping beyond the initial cleanup. Why give through Kindness In Motion and Zeffy?Kindness In Motion is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
