a swimming pool with a number three on the side of it

The HVA Current is proud to be the first USA Swimming club team based in historic Hampton, Virginia — dedicated to helping every swimmer reach their full potential. Our mission is to create programs that maximize opportunities for all swimmers by meeting them where they are and helping them grow — both as athletes and as individuals. We dream big. We make waves by working hard. And we’re becoming champions — in and out of the pool. The HVA Current Challenge is our signature fall fundraiser supporting that mission. During this event, swimmers showcase their dedication and growing skills through a one-hour swim sponsored by friends, family, and community businesses. Your support makes a real impact — helping us provide top-tier training equipment, specialized clinics, and development camps that empower Hampton-area swimmers to go further and dream bigger.  Together, we’re building more than a team — we’re building a community of champions. Thank you for helping our swimmers achieve even more, both in and out of the pool.
