About EQCI Launched in 2022 and now officially a 501(c)(3), Eastside Quantum Computing Interns (EQCI) helps young people from San Antonio&rsquo;s Eastside and surrounding neighborhoods increase awareness of science, technology, and emerging career pathways. Through partnerships with the Alamo Colleges District, local educators, and community organizations, we provide hands-on learning experiences where students explore coding, quantum concepts, robotics, research, and community leadership.We believe talent lives everywhere &mdash; opportunity should too. Why This Matters In many neighborhoods, young people have limited access to hands-on science experiences and almost no exposure to fields like quantum computing &mdash; one of the fastest-growing areas of future employment.
