At Chapter One, we transform children’s futures with 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most. For over 30 years, Chapter One has been transforming children’s futures by providing one-to-one support to help them learn to read. We partner with schools across the country to deliver sustainable programs that make a significant impact for students in grades K–5. Our High Impact Tutoring model provides schools with trained Early Literacy Interventionists (ELIs) who work in-person with students on a 1:1 basis each day. Our Online Reading Volunteers program connects schools with corporate volunteers, helping thousands of young students develop their reading skills each year. Our Global Free Library offers an online collection of stories highlighting unique voices and perspectives to open up young readers' minds to the world around them.
