🌟 Join us in making a difference in the Jack&#39;s life🌟At For the Animals of the Ukiah Shelter, we know that change starts with people like you. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission to helping animals residing at the Ukiah Animal Shelter.&nbsp; Jack was dumped &nbsp;in Hopland and brought to the shelter by Animal Control. &nbsp;By the time Jack was found he was emaciated and injured. &nbsp;Jack was probably hit by a car causing a fractured hip and did not receive medical care by his owner.. &nbsp;Once he was at the shelter, Jack was taken immediately to a Mendocino Animal Hospital and it was determined he required surgery. We were able to fundraise and pay for FHO surgery at Russian River Veterinary Surgical Service in Santa Rosa performed on February 3, 2026. &nbsp;Unfortunately, Jack ended up with an infection resulting in additional trips to RRVSS in Santa Rosa and resulting in costs we did not anticipate. &nbsp;We need help to cover these additional costs.
