Even though recovery efforts have been ongoing and gaining traction across many platforms, the Jamaican government remains divided. As time passes, locals continue to suffer at the hands of politics&mdash;making it especially critical that Jamaica&rsquo;s relief efforts receive direct, hand-to-hand local support. Jamaica Bikelife is a grassroots collective of riders and organizers across the island who are community-driven, using motorcycles as tools to activate and uplift youth positively and constructively. Since the storm hit, Jamaica Bikelife has been providing essential aid on the ground. Their network of volunteers delivers food, water, fuel, and emergency supplies to rural and urban communities inaccessible by cars or emergency vehicles. They transport medical staff and personnel to affected areas and connect with local riders to reach the most vulnerable and elderly. They were the first responders.
