This holiday season, the JCC is proud to support SLO Community Cares, a cherished local tradition that began in 1985 when the San Luis Obispo Jewish community came together&nbsp;to serve a Christmas meal to those experiencing homelessness. Thanks to the vision and dedication of Sheri Eibschutz and Naomi Blakely, the effort grew into the SLO Community Holiday Feast, now serving hundreds each year with warm meals and essential winter care packages filled with clothing, blankets, and other necessities. The JCC is making a direct contribution to SLO Community Cares toward purchasing more Care Packages, ensuring our unhoused neighbors throughout San Luis Obispo County are better equipped to face the cold winter months.&nbsp; I have committed to raising at least $1,000 from our Jewish community in addition to the JCC commitment to support this vital effort, and I invite you to join me.
