There have been too many K9s injured and or killed while on duty due to not having a bullet proof vests like the officers they work side by side with. We donate level 3 ballistic vests to departments that have K9s but not the funding for vests due to the high cost of getting a K9 and equipping a vehicle and the ongoing training needed to maintain them.
