Kida&rsquo;s life is finally changing &mdash; but she still has one more battle ahead. ❤️Kida came to us after spending her life outside in a metal cage, surrounded by mud and with very little interaction with the world around her. That life left its mark. While Kida is sweet, smart, and eager to learn, she needs help building the confidence and skills she never had the opportunity to develop.Tranquil Dog Training has generously stepped up and donated a six-week board-and-train program for Kida, giving her an incredible opportunity to prepare for the life and family she deserves.But Kida is also heartworm positive.Her heartworm treatment will begin soon, with injections scheduled for November 5, December 7, and December 8. Because of her size, Kida requires two vials of Diroban for each treatment, along with medications, veterinary care, monitoring, and supportive care throughout the process.We need to raise $620 to cover Kida&rsquo;s heartworm treatment.After everything Kida has already endured, we want the next chapter of her life to look completely different.A safe place to sleep. People she can trust. The skills she needs to succeed. A healthy heart. And eventually, a family of her own.Her training has already been generously donated.
