Help Us Stop the Cycle of Suffering for Laredo's Community Cats! Every day in Laredo, Texas, countless community cats struggle to survive. Kittens are born outdoors, vulnerable to disease, starvation, extreme temperatures, and the dangers of life on the streets. Without intervention, the cycle continues, litter after litter. But three compassionate women decided they couldn't stand by and watch.Patti Garza, Damaris Leal, and Sandra Mota joined forces to create Laredo TNR – Tipped With Love, a community-driven initiative operating under SOS Cat Rescue & Rehoming, a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Their mission is simple but powerful: Prevent suffering before it begins.Through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), these dedicated rescuers humanely trap community cats, arrange spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations, and return healthy cats to their familiar outdoor homes. Each cat receives a small ear tip during surgery—a universal symbol that the cat has been sterilized and will no longer contribute to the cycle of unwanted litters. But their work doesn't stop there. They also educate residents, support community cat caregivers, collaborate with local rescue organizations, and help friendly cats and kittens find loving homes. Your Donation Makes a DifferenceEvery dollar raised helps fund essential veterinary services, including spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and other eligible TNR expenses.Just $125 can help provide a cat with a spay/neuter procedure, essential vaccinations, and testing, based on SOS Cat Rescue's average program cost.*$25 helps contribute toward veterinary care.*$50 helps cover a meaningful portion of a cat's medical expenses.*$125 can sponsor one cat's essential TNR veterinary services.*$250 can help two cats receive care.*$500 can help five rescuers' patients receive care? No—five cats can be helped with an additional $125 donation. It's about preventing countless unwanted kittens from being born into difficult circumstances tomorrow. These women are donating their time, energy, and hearts to Laredo's cats.
