🐾 Help keep dogs in the best shelter there is—their home. Your support of LARPBO’s first annual fundraising campaign for year end 2026, “Home is the Best Shelter,” helps us sustain and expand LARPBO Scholarships, offering FREE training to adopters, fosters and rescuers of all breeds of shelter dogs. At LARPBO (Los Angeles Responsible Pit Bull Owners), we support new dog owners and foster families in Los Angeles who welcome shelter and rescue dogs into their homes. With your help, we can provide accessible, high-quality training and practical skills to support a smoother transition and a lasting relationship with their newly saved companion. Your donation will be doubled! A generous LARPBO supporter will match all donations dollar for dollar, extending the training support your gift makes possible. Our primary goal is to reduce the likelihood of dogs being returned to shelters. Your gift funds comprehensive training tailored to dogs and their new owners, with strategies for managing behavior, understanding canine communication and reinforcing positive habits. By helping dogs stay in loving homes, you also support efforts to ease overcrowding in our community’s animal shelters and build a compassionate, responsible dog-owning community. Here’s how you can help 🌟

Donate: Give toward our fundraising goal and help provide more training for adopted, rescued and fostered dogs.

Share: Introduce our campaign to friends and family, and share it on social media to help our message reach more people.

Volunteer: Help at our weekly trainings in Sherman Oaks or Long Beach. Email us to learn how you can lend a hand.

Donate today to help dogs and their people build a lasting life together. Whether you give, share or volunteer, your kindness and time move this work forward. Thank you for supporting the people who open their homes to dogs—and our shared hope that every dog finds a happy, permanent home.
