About the Film&ldquo;Las Palmas&rdquo; explores the social, political, and emotional impacts of the displacements of Latin communities currently happening in the streets of Los Angeles. We thread the present conflict in relation to Los Angeles Latin history and the story of the palm tree to show a tapestry of cyclical, systemic displacement of life in LA.
