Somos Venezuela is a Florida-registered nonprofit building an electronic recycling initiative to recover, refurbish, and deliver computers to schools in Venezuela&mdash;where many students have little or no access to technology.Our mission is simple: more recovered computers &rarr; more access &rarr; more opportunity.But we&rsquo;re not only delivering laptops. In addition we run an after-school club program, designed to make sure the computers actually create real educational impact. We start with communication, leadership, personal development, and media training&mdash;then expand into technology skills and responsible AI concepts as more computers become available.We&rsquo;re launching our first pilot school and starting small (even with just one laptop), while we work to grow access over time.Your donation will help cover early startup costs, our IRS filing process, and the first refurbished computers we send to a school.Important note: We are currently in the process of applying for 501(c)(3) status.
