A smiling woman rests her chin on her hand in the foreground, set against a scenic mountain landscape at sunset with promotional text and graphics overlaying the scene.

Dear friends, Some people carry a whole web on their shoulders without ever asking anyone to notice. Mayana Kingery is one of them. For years she has been the steady hands of Peace Production: one heart, many callings. She even wrote its first words, about a well where every gift leaves a thank-you. She is the one who drives to the gatherings, sits with the Elders, carries what needs carrying, and turns up wherever the circle needs her. This week, the only car carrying that work was lost in an accident. No one was seriously hurt, and we are grateful beyond words. But the work has lost its wheels, and the one who is always there for everyone now needs everyone to be there for her. So we turn to the circle, all of us together. With an offering from each of us, Peace Production will have a reliable car again: owned by the nonprofit, carrying all of these callings to every gathering, every Elder circle, every place that needs them. Give what your heart says. Then pass this on to one friend. Every gift is tax-deductible, and Zeffy takes no fees, so every dollar reaches the road. I live much of my life in a gift economy, and here is what it has taught me: a gift isn't a transaction. It's a current. What we give to the ones who give so much doesn't leave the circle; it keeps it moving. This is one of those moments when a circle remembers it is a circle. And if you can, leave a thank-you for Mayana with your gift. She has given us so many. May the road rise to meet her again. The GGCN Sisterhood and Friends
