George Lucas &amp; G2H Fundraiser (2026-2027) In memory of George Lucas, whose resilience helped him face life&rsquo;s hardships with strength, determination, and optimism. His struggles deepened his compassion for others, and he was always ready to offer support, guidance, or simply his presence during difficult times. A devoted father, George put family first and worked tirelessly to care for and provide for those he loved. His generosity, compassion, and selflessness left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him, and his legacy continues to inspire all those he touched. Those values live on through the work of the G2H Foundation, which serves students, athletes, families, first responders, and community organizations.&nbsp; The G2H Foundation supports academic, athletic, and service scholarships. It also partners with athletic programs and community organizations to identify needs, provide financial assistance, and promote a &ldquo;Team First&rdquo; mindset. The Foundation further supports community charities, families in need, and first responder-related causes. Its volunteers serve with kindness, compassion, confidence, and friendship in honor of Gerrin Hagen&rsquo;s spirit.&nbsp; Your gift to LIHEDC&rsquo;s Fundraiser for George Lucas &amp; G2H Foundation supports more than hockey&mdash;it advances the values George embodied and helps strengthen Long Island communities.
