See details below: LIVES BEYOND MOTION explores the lives of an intergenerational group of over thirty treasured male dancers and legendary choreographers, including Bill T. Jones, Lar Lubovitch, Kyle Abraham, Matthew Rushing&nbsp;and more. These extraordinary men gift us a rare level of transparency as they share their sacrifices, triumphs and struggles to transcend economic, racial and sexual marginalization. The film uncovers archival performances, preserves the legacy of legendary artists and spotlights the uncompromising quest to find individual expression, the joy in the art of movement and what it takes to build a life in the arts. With our film in its final stretch, we&#39;re urgently raising finishing funds for required post-production deliverables. To meet the final broadcast delivery requirements, we need to raise $6500 as soon as possible to cover: E&amp;O Insurance - ($3200),&nbsp;Fair Use&nbsp;Legal Opinion - ($2500),&nbsp;and&nbsp;Title Search - ($775). We are so grateful for all who have helped us get very close to our initial goal! The reality of time and cost of the research needed for clearances has proven to be much higher than originally calculated. His stage and site specific work has been seen at theaters, museums, community centers and coffeehouses throughout California, New York, New Mexico and beyond. Keith&#39;s career as a dancer ended thirty years ago with an MS diagnosis. But it didn&rsquo;t end his connection with dance as both a choreographer and teacher. In fact, it was the catalyst to his exploration of the existential question &ldquo;Why do I dance?&rdquo; Over a decade ago he began examining what drives the passion of more than thirty celebrated men in contemporary dance, including Kennedy Center Honoree Bill T. She is also a producer and composer of the sports documentary, BORN TO LEAD: THE SAL AUNESE STORY currently streaming on PBS. Douglas Thompson (producer/editor) has written, edited and produced numerous documentaries. He most recently completed features on Gypsy (Roma) history and music in Eastern Europe, the animistic cosmology of Voodoo in West Africa with actor/director Djimon Hounsou, a biopic of the life and legacy of super-producer and sports mogul, Peter Guber. and current award winning feature documentary, VELVET VISION: THE STORY OF JAMES BIDGOOD and the MAKING of PINK NARCISSUS.
