A local leader reached out to our organization after hearing about a local family living without most of their possessions following a difficult cross-country move. &nbsp;After driving from Washington state, the family arrived in our community, and they found their rental home uninhabitable. &nbsp;The rental company has been uncooperative and has not returned their deposit. &nbsp;The family had to live in a hotel for 6+ weeks until they could find a new home. &nbsp;With all of the financial hits, they have been unable to pay the fees to the moving company to have their belongings released. &nbsp; We know that everyone has bills piling up, especially at the holidays, but we also know the incredible heart of this community and how you have stepped up for so many in the past. &nbsp; If we can get 400 families to donate $20 each or 200 families to donate $40 each, this family can finally settle in and begin their lives as Panthers. &nbsp; This is by far the largest ask we&#39;ve had since we started our organization one year ago, but we are honored to be part of rolling out the welcome mat to a family so hard-hit by what was supposed to be their new beginning.
