Since then, this program has been tremendously successful and has made a real difference in our community.🐱 We have now spayed and neutered more than 500 cats!That means more than 500 cats who will not contribute to the cycle of unwanted litters &mdash; and countless kittens who will never have to be born into a life of being unwanted, dumped, or surrendered.But we know there is SO much more we can do.And now, we are coming to YOU &mdash; our community &mdash; for help. ❤️🏥 Community Animal Services is starting A LOW-COST WALK-IN VETERINARY CLINIC!Community Animal Services is taking the next step in helping families and their pets by opening a walk-in, low-cost veterinary clinic.Our goal is to provide affordable veterinary care right here in our community, including:🐾 Low-cost spay &amp; neuter for cats and dogs🦷 Low-cost dental services💉 Affordable yearly vaccinations🐶🐱 Preventative care🪲 Affordable flea &amp; tick medications❤️ And much, much more!For more than 8 years of running an animal shelter, we have seen firsthand that the number of unwanted animals continues to increase.We simply cannot adopt our way out of this crisis.We have to stop the problem before it starts.Preventing unwanted pregnancies is one of the most important things we can do to reduce the number of animals being born, dumped, surrendered, and left without a safe place to go.Every year, thousands upon thousands of animals across Southwest Missouri end up in shelters or are abandoned.
