Your gift brings Kedougou closer to a future without malaria.&nbsp; For two decades, globally-recognized innovation in the fight against malaria has been rooted in published research conducted in Kedougou, Senegal. The Malaria Free K&eacute;dougou initiative works with the Ministry of Health communities across the region to accelerate progress toward eliminating deaths from malaria in Kedougou, historically the most malaria-endemic region of Senegal.&nbsp; Every contribution directly strengthens our long‑term mission of health, education and sustainable development in Kedougou. By reducing malaria, you help create classrooms where students can learn consistently and communities can plan for their future with confidence. And you save lives: most malaria deaths children under the age of 5 and pregnant women. What your contribution will accomplish: $20 buys the rapid diagnostic tests and malaria treatment medicine for a week for a village. $40 provides the monthly stipend for the community health worker in each village who goes to each family, checks for fevers, administers diagnostic tests, and provides the medicine that cures the disease.&nbsp; $120 protects an entire village for a month during the rainy season.&nbsp; $720 protects that village for the entire period each year that malaria is most dangerous.&nbsp;
