A stylized illustration of a grey and orange bird stands next to the text "Matagorda Bay BIRDFEST" against a plain white background.

Matagorda Bay Birdfest is a community-run event, and it only happens because of people like you. Every dollar you give goes straight back into the festival, funding the bird tours, speaker sessions, the Youth Art Contest, and everything else that makes this weekend special for our community and the birders who travel here for it. Birdfest is run entirely by volunteers, from the guides leading tours to the folks setting up chairs before the keynote dinner. Your donation helps cover the costs they can’t, so we can keep growing this event for years to come. No amount is too small. Whatever you can give helps us make next year even better! Please note: Matagorda Bay Birdfest is not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so contributions are voluntary and are not tax deductible.
