McGilvra PTA has an ambitious goal of raising $273,000 this school year.The Annual Fund drive running November 3rd to December 8th 2025, is targeted to raise $125,000 of this total.These donations directly support our children’s education, specifically the art program, academic tutors, and other specialists. These programs are critical elements of our children’s education and daily experience at school. The cost of these vital school resources is $1,470 per student. We will not be able to continue to support these programs and positions next school year without financial assistance from our community.  All donations, big and little, help our effort; no amount is ever too small. Families who can give more will help cover costs for those families that are unable to give as much.  It never hurts to ask family or friends to give as well. ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE!Please note that Zeffy is the only fundraising software that is 100% free, they even cover credit card fees, so every dollar we raise will go directly to the school. They rely on voluntary contributions. A: The PTA works with Principal Anderson to identify gaps in the budget.
