Welcome to the WRA Conference in Leavenworth! If you are stopping by our table today, you likely know the frustration: every day, people leave the doctor’s office with a prescription they simply cannot afford to fill. The medicine exists, but navigating insurance, paperwork, and assistance programs is a full-time job. Clinics want to help, but their staff are already stretched thin. The forms and follow-ups pile up, leaving the most vulnerable patients to fight through a broken system alone. Salix Compass exists to stand in that gap. We partner with community clinics to take on the behind-the-scenes work that stands between patients and their medications. We coordinate directly with clinics, pharmacies, and assistance programs to ensure that when a prescription is written, there is a real path to getting it in hand, especially for patients navigating language barriers, unstable coverage, or complex chronic conditions. By supporting us this weekend, you are helping us build a nationwide network where a patient’s access to medication does not depend on their ZIP code, their first language, or their ability to advocate for themselves. Your contribution funds the quiet, meaningful work that changes someone’s day in a concrete way. It means a filled prescription, a stabilized condition, and a bit less fear about how to afford the next month. Whatever you are able to give today, thank you for helping us make sure fewer people have to face that fight alone. Note: Salix Compass does not yet have its own 501(c)(3) determination, so contributions are not tax-deductible at this time. We share this so you can give with full transparency.
