Meet K-9 Mac & Officer Zach Lindsley K-9 Mac is a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois mix from Poland and the newest K-9 partner of Officer Zach Lindsley with the Ludlow Police Department in Ludlow, Kentucky. Although they have only recently been paired together, Officer Lindsley and Mac have already formed an incredible bond. After successfully completing Basic K-9 Handler School, the two are now serving their community as a nationally certified Patrol and Narcotics Detection team. When the badge comes off, Mac is a loving, affectionate dog who enjoys spending time with his family and never turns down a cuddle. But the moment it’s time to work, everything changes. Mac loves his job, thrives during training, and gives his all every day to protect his handler and the citizens of Ludlow. Officer Lindsley describes Mac as a partner he connected with almost immediately. Having previously worked with another K-9, he understands how special the handler-K-9 relationship can be and is grateful for the strong bond they have already built. Why This Fundraiser? Protection4Paws’ traditional grant program focuses on providing lifesaving K-9 equipment such as heat alarm systems, trauma kits, and other emergency safety equipment. Because the items requested for Mac fall outside of our standard grant program, we are establishing a dedicated fundraiser to purchase them. The goal of this fundraiser is to provide Mac with the specialized training equipment needed to keep him performing at his highest level throughout his career. Funds raised will be used to purchase:

Demant Bite Suit – $1,730

Fundraising Goal: $1,730 Every dollar donated will go directly toward these essential training tools, helping Officer Lindsley and K-9 Mac continue to train safely and effectively as they serve their community.
