A man in neon sunglasses and a bright yellow floral jacket gives a thumbs-up from the driver's seat, while another man in a black and red hoodie sits in the background.

Park it For a Purpose is a campaign designed to bring awareness of the need we are fulfilling through the work we are doing at Fix It Forward Ministry- "Solving the transportation need of the neediest amung us, enabling them to be independent and self sufficient." For 5 days Mike has committed to struggle through not having safe, reliable, and convenient transportation in the Fargo Moorhead area Donate on behalf of the sacrifice Mike has made to enable Fix It Forward Ministry to help others in need! Every $2,200 raised solves the transportation need for 3 people in our community! $5,000 raised will get Mike keys back EARLY! Thanks for enabling Fix It Forward Ministry to help those in need through your support of Mike! So voluntarily parking mine for five days might have a few people wondering if I’m feeling okay. But Fix It Forward is a cause I’m always willing to show up for, even if this time I have to catch a ride. Reliable transportation means getting to work, making appointments, and taking care of your family. I’m participating to better understand the challenges our neighbors face and help give someone else that freedom and independence. Plus, how many different ways can I get to work in five days? Hitch a ride, hop on a bus, dust off a Skateboard… Walter and Ozzie look like a sled team, but their commitment to following directions is questionable. I’ll survive five days without my cars, but I reserve the right to talk about them. **Meet Mike:** Hey, I’m Mike! I’m a car enthusiast—which is the polite way of saying obsessed. I like my cars to stand out, and if there’s a car show nearby, there’s a good chance I’m already there explaining why we should stay “just five more minutes.” Whenever Fix It Forward needs a hand, I’m there. I’m also the unofficial merchandise guy for Fix It Forward. Apparently, saying “I’m happy to help” enough times gets you promoted to “Ask Mike, he’s got the shirts!” I’m married to Dawn, and we have two amazing huskies, Walter and Ozzie. I love great cars, good people, and showing up for a cause that helps our neighbors keep moving.Compose' Mike's giving up his keys October 19th - 23rd
