(Formerly BSU Black Student Fellowship) originated over 40 years ago at Lincoln University BSU, Jefferson City, MO under the direction of Dr. Chris Jackson as a ministry to college/university gospel choirs, creative worship ministries, and fellowships. In 1996, when the Lord blessed us to do a Live Recording called “It’s in the Word” we changed the name of the organization. Special thanks to Karonica Glover, President of The UMR Voices of Inspiration Choir & Assistant to me, and Bishop Lester Woods, Jr. (the recording visionary) all the musicians, choir members, and James “Oris Turner (TAS Recording) who produced, mixed, and taped the recording. From 2000-2002 we decided to restructure and rebirth MO Statewide. We regrouped after our 2018 Conference and the global pandemic. During the pandemic after two years of Fasting & Praying, interacting/sharing with Apostle Martin Indawke, Pastor of Victory of Grace Church in Mumias, Kenya, his wife, his church by encouraging one another through Prayer, the preaching/teaching of the Word of God, praise, and worship. As a result, God allowed the vision to come to pass to add a Missouri Statewide Inc. International Ministry component collaborating with Apostle Indawke and his ministry. The Holy Spirit led me to invite a specific group of ministers, pastors, prophets, psalmist, teachers, evangelist, and lay persons who had asked God to make away for them to do international ministry while in their home cities.
