The Monmouth Elementary PTA is proud to partner with our students and teachers this year to promote a love of reading and literacy in their lives. Studies have shown that literacy is important because it's the foundation for learning and growth, and it helps people communicate effectively. It's also a key to success in school and in life. Literacy also has many benefits that include: promoting better health and less hospitalizations, helping people express their feelings and thoughts, which can lead to higher self-esteem and lower anxiety, helping students understand concepts, explore subjects, and achieve their full potential, and help people build confidence and self-worth.  Students will have a chance to read books and earn points for their classroom. Students will also be raising money by getting pledges from friends and family members. The money raised will be used to help fund field trips, playground equipment, and supplies for teachers. Your contribution to our event would be greatly appreciated.  Let's spread a love of literacy to all!  Pledges are DUE by Thursday, March 20th, 2025
