A smiling young girl holds an open children's book in the foreground, sitting in front of a green wall and a wooden shelf filled with books in the background.

More Books. More Libraries. More Futures. We believe literacy is more than learning to read; it is the opportunity for a child to discover, imagine, learn, and believe in what is possible. What makes our work special is that we do more than place books on shelves. We create welcoming spaces where children can find books, develop a love of reading, build literacy skills, and experience the joy of learning. Through our Oasis Libraries and other literacy programs, we are bringing meaningful reading experiences closer to children and communities that have historically had limited access to books. Every book shared represents an opportunity to open a door, strengthen a skill, and help a child grow. Your support is already making a measurable difference:

4,436 books loaned to readers this year

1,471 books read in our libraries

597 registered library members gaining access to books and literacy experiences

But there are still more children waiting for that opportunity. We want to reach more communities, put more books into children's hands, create more Oasis Libraries, and provide more spaces where children can read, learn, and grow. Your gift helps turn that vision into reality. Whether you help provide books, support a library, or expand literacy programming, you are investing in children and in the future of their communities. Join Read For Growth in building a culture of reading: one book, one child, and one community at a time.
