The average cost of a clinic is now $3,325, and demand continues to grow. Just last year, we were able to run as many as five clinics each month. Today, funding limitations often reduce that number to two, three, or four clinics. Our goal is to guarantee four clinics every month, two in Los Angeles, one in the San Fernando Valley, and one in the San Gabriel Valley so rescuers and caregivers always have access to affordable spay/neuter services.These clinics serve 30&ndash;40 dedicated rescuers and trappers who are helping cats throughout our communities. At four clinics per month, we can provide surgery, vaccines, and flea treatment for approximately 140 cats every month, or nearly 1,700 cats every year.Unfortunately, recent changes to the City of Los Angeles voucher program have made it increasingly difficult to help friendly cats rescued from the streets.
