Jocelynne (Joy) Fulk 1954-2026Joy was born in Oceanside, New York, and grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. After college graduation she moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where she was married and raised a family of 8 children. The children were all homeschooled through high school and have gone on to college and become successful adults. After the youngest graduated, Joy became active as a volunteer at local parks, became an Indiana Master Naturalist and an Indiana Master Gardner. She began to work as a Naturalist for Hendricks County Parks and Recreation where she was introduced to National Association for Interpretation (NAI).&nbsp; For over 10 years she was a member of NAI, received her CIG training, attended many conferences and in 2026 assisted with the planning of the Regional Conference in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Shortly before the conference, Joy received news that the breast cancer that had metastasized in her body was no longer responding to the drugs that had kept it under control since the fall of 2022. She went on to assist with the conference knowing that it would be her last opportunity to be around her NAI &ldquo;family.&rdquo; This fund has been set up at Joy&#39;s request to support NAI&#39;s Great Lakes Region, which includes the US states of Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio, as well as the Canadian Province of Ontario.
