Waterborne Relief is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity under Sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Phase Two supports locally led recovery and long-term resilience projects in Nepal. Contributions will support vetted humanitarian, rebuilding, education, livelihood, preparedness, and public-safety projects benefiting affected Nepalese communities. One current priority is supporting the continuation and recovery of the Himalayan Outdoor Education Program (HOEP) at Royal Beach Camp. Through hands-on training in river guiding, outdoor leadership, adventure tourism, and safety, HOEP helps young people develop practical skills and pathways to employment. HOEP is one important part of this broader effort. As additional needs and opportunities are identified, campaign funds may also support other vetted projects that advance recovery, education, livelihoods, preparedness, and long-term community resilience. Potential uses include:

Emergency supplies and locally purchased relief materials

Restoration of essential community infrastructure

Recovery of education and workforce-development programs, including HOEP

Training equipment, learning spaces, and student support for approved educational projects

Rescue training, preparedness initiatives, and public-safety equipment

Other locally identified recovery priorities reviewed and approved by Waterborne Relief
