Welcome from the Bancroft Community Volunteer Fire Department! We have been working towards a new fire station for our volunteer fire department for over ten years. &nbsp;Due to the growing energy needs of our community, the community of Bancroft needs the property that our current station sits on for construction of a new power switching station. &nbsp;This property is needed because it sits in close proximity to our community&#39;s power plant. &nbsp;We need to be in a new building in early 2027. &nbsp;Our current station is also old and outdated. &nbsp;We as a fire department have outgrown our current station, and have been storing trucks and equipment in other buildings around town for the past few years. &nbsp;We have been unable to retrofit our current building with new equipment due to the costs of our aging structure as well as lack of space. &nbsp;Currently we are unable to train in our station because we are out of space. &nbsp;With the trucks in the bays, we have to literally lean against the main pumper while getting dressed into our bunker gear which is a safety concern. A new station will give us the opportunity to improve our equipment and do more training in house. &nbsp;We will also have room to have all of our trucks and equipment under one roof, which will improve public safety and response times to emergencies. &nbsp;All donations will go directly to our new fire station building fund. &nbsp;We appreciate any donations you are able to give!!
